Collegiate swimmers should be on the Boiling Springs High School pool deck no later than 8:10 a.m.

Other Notes:

All swimmers MUST wear shoes (crocs, flip flops, etc.) outside of the pool area.

The visiting team (Collegiate) will have use of the bleachers on the pool deck during the meet.

The upper viewing deck is available for spectators.

There will be a concession stand.

Take I-81 South to Exit 49 (High Street). Take left at bottom of ramp at the traffic light. At the next traffic light, turn right onto Army Heritage Drive. Turn left onto Fairview Street. Proceed straight on Fairview Street through next traffic light. Turn left onto Forge Road (at the stop sign). Go 2.8 miles. Watch for sign on left (South Middleton School District), which will be on Arnold Street. Turn Right OPPOSITE the sign onto Arnold Street. Boiling Springs High School is at the top of the hill on the right side. Continue up the hill past the front of the school and turn right at the end of the building. The pool entrance is through the double glass doors.


Team Lunch After SMSC Dual Meet on Saturday, February 18

RED ROBIN. YUM! Plan for a fun lunch after our dual meet at South Middleton on February 18. Red Robin on the Carlisle Pike will be hosting a fundraiser lunch and providing a donation from your total lunch bill (excluding tax and tip) to our swim team.
Red Robin is definitely family-friendly and the menu has a nice variety of sandwiches, salads, soups and kids meals! This is an optional event however all families are encouraged to stop in, buy lunch, enjoy time together and support the team! To provide an accurate donation to the team, each family will receive a lunch 'slip' the day of the meet to take along with them to Red Robin so no matter what time they arrive they can hand the slip to their server giving the team credit for their lunch purchase. 2012 CPAL Bill Schmidt Memorial All Star Meet

WHO ATTENDS?: The top 16 individual and top eight relay performances (times) from the combined results of the four division championship meets advance to "All Stars".

AM Session warm-up assignment for Collegiate: 8:15 - 8:45 a.m. Please be on CV's pool deck no later than 7:50 a.m.

PM Session warm-up assignment for Collegiate: 12:30 - 12:55 a.m. Please be on CV's pool deck no later than 12:00 p.m.

FACILITY: The CV Natatorium has an eight (8) lane, 40 meter pool divided by a bulkhead at 25 yards, with additional warm-up/warm-down lanes. A Colorado timing system will be used with touch-pads at both ends of the pool to allow for electronic timing for 8 & under swimmers. Hy-Tek meet management software will be used. Swimmers will be seated on the pool deck with assigned team sections. There is spectator seating in the gallery area. No chairs/blankets will be allowed in the spectator gallery area for safety reasons, however, you may have them in the LGI room.

VOLUNTEERS: Each team is required to submit a list of officials and volunteers. Collegiate families may volunteer via the Online Parent Volunteer Sign-up Sheets:

Meet volunteers will be posted on the CPAL website when the list becomes available. Name badges must be picked up before entering the pool deck.

PSYCH SHEETS: The list of qualifiers and alternates for the All-Star Meet will be posted on the CPAL website, www.swimcpal.org, as soon as all divisions’ results have been combined.

ADMISSION: $3.00 (Children 12 and under are admitted free.)

PROGRAMS: $5.00 for the entire meet

AWARDS: Custom medals/ribbons will be given for all individual event participants (1st thru 16th ) and all relay participants (1st thru 8th).

CONCESSIONS: Various food items will be available throughout the day in the lobby outside of the natatorium. Food and drink items are not allowed on deck or in the spectator gallery.

SWIM SHOP: T&T Swimming will be on site the entire day.

PHOTOGRAPHY: EJ’s Action Photography will be taking pictures the day of the meet. Please visit their table to highlight your swimmer’s name if you are interested in having your swimmer’s photo taken. You will then be able to order pictures from their webpage after the day of the meet. www.ejsactionphoto.com

T-SHIRTS: T-shirts will be available for pre-order and also onsite to purchase the day of the meet. Pre-meet order forms are HERE.

HOSPITALITY: There will be a hospitality area set up for coaches. Drinks will be available on deck for coaches, timers and officials.

RESULTS: Results will be posted in the hallway across from the locker rooms, on the pool deck and on the CPAL website (www.swimcpal.org) after the conclusion of the meet.

This is an excellent meet for young and new swimmers! The "Mini Champs" format will allow swimmers to compete against other swimmers their age (opposed to age groups). For instance, a 7 year old girl will compete only against other 7 year old girls...a 9 year old boy will compete only against other 9 year old boys.


If any swimmer would like to attend this meet, please make sure the following steps are followed:

1. Print page 3 of 5 the meet announcement HERE.(this is the meet event list)
2. Write swimmer's name on the print-out of the event list. Do not forget to do this.
3. Circle swimmer's desired events.
4. Include payment and event list in an envelope marked 9 & under Mini Champs Meet
5. Return to the collection folder at practice no later than Tuesday, February 21

From I-581, take the Route 11/15 South exit towards Gettysburg. Stay on Route 15 for 10 miles. Turn left onto Rt. 74 South/Baltimore Street (Fourth traffic light; Landmarks: PNC Bank and Wendy's). Travel approximately 1.5 miles through Dillsburg on Rt. 74, and the high school will be located on your left. Turn left into the high school drive. Turn right and go around the school to the back to enter the Natatorium (follow the signs to the Natatorium).
