For every Collegiate league/dual meet, we will need parental volunteers for the following jobs.
Meets are parent-run... without your help, we can't hold a meet!
The more volunteers we have, the easier a meet is on everyone.
THE SIGN UP SHEET IS ON THE BULLETIN BOARD AT CAMP CURTIN
- Stroke and Turn Judges (3-4 CPAL, PIAA, YMCA, or NCAA-certified officials to oversee strokes and turns during the meet)
- 8 & Under and 10 & Under Meet Assistants (2-3 parents willing to round up the young ones and bring them to the starting blocks)
- Finish Judges (2 people that record the places swimmers finish in; usually switch off half-way through the meet)
- Ribbon Writers (2 people that place the swimmer's time stickers on the back of the appropriate place ribbon; usually switch off half-way through the meet)
- Timers (13 people to time each lane during the meet; usually switch off half-way through the meet; includes back-up timers)
