The building will be open at 7:15am, but the spectator gallery will NOT open until 7:30am

Meet Time Line:
Doors Open: 7:15 a.m.
Collegiate Assigned Warm-up: 8-8:20 a.m.
CA swimmers should be on deck NLT 7:50 a.m.

Meet begins: 9:00 a.m.
Meet ends: 1:00 p.m.

When your swimmers arrive, the meet host will have a table set up in the lobby with special meet t-shirts. We have various sizes, choose the size you need. These are NOT for sale, and we do not have extra to sell. These t-shirts are for our young 10 and under swimmers only.

Central Pennsylvania 10 & Under Mini Champs Meet Information Packet

Purpose: To provide 10 & under swimmers an opportunity to swim in a Championship type meet at the end of their season

Facilities: This meet will be run in an eight lane competitive pool with adjustable bulkhead, and fully automatic timing. Adjustable bulkhead allows for 25 yard course with a five lane 25 yard warm down area The starting end has a depth of 13 feet. The facility is equipped with Adolph Keiffer Wave Eater lane lines, Colorado Timing System, Aqua Grip electronic pads, and a ten-line readout scoreboard. Seating for up to 500 swimmers on deck and spectator balcony seating for up to 400. Free parking next to the building. The water depth at the turn end of the pool is 5 feet. There will be no “Seeding Area” to stage swimmers. Teams will be responsible to see their swimmers behind the blocks. The host team will have volunteers behind the blocks to double check swimmers are in the proper lanes.

Special note from meet director: Most of you have attended events at Cumberland Valley High School before, BUT just so we are clear and everyone understands (at our February Mini Meet, not everyone was able to get into the meet due to the gallery limit). It is VERY important for your parents to understand, the gallery seating is LIMITED to 375 and this is a “controlled seating”. By order of fire marshal and CV school district, we can NOT allow more than 375 spectators in the spectator gallery at any time. It is very important that your parents understand about the seating at CV. We have 300 swimmers in the meet, thus you can see if every swimmer brought two spectators, not everyone would get in. If everyone works together, we can make this an enjoyable meet for everyone, BUT if a few parents get "passionately upset", CV security will ask them to leave the facility, and then no one wins as they do not get to see their kids swim. It will be VERY important that your parents understand the "seating limits" as well as NO FOOD permitted in the gallery. Please try to limit the number of spectators you will have attending this event.

Entries: Each swimmer may swim a maximum of four (4) individual events, and (2) two relays.

Entry Fees: $5.00 per individual event

Preliminary Entry Deadline: Monday, February 22, 2016

This meet requires advance entry. Please make sure the following steps are followed:

1. Print page(s) that contain the list of meet events.
2. Write swimmer's name on the print-out of the event list. Do not forget to do this.
3. Circle swimmer's desired events.
4. Include payment and event list in an envelope marked with the meet name. CHECKS PAYABLE TO COLLEGIATE AQUATICS.
5. Return paper copies and payment to a coach or specified folder by the deadline indicated.
