Meet Notes:

Please DO NOT arrive at Northern High school prior to 12 noon. By order of the Northern York Board of School Directors, meet attendees can NOT enter the school prior to 12 noon. The doors will NOT open until 12 noon. Warm ups will begin at 12:15 p.m. and the pool will remain open until 1:15 p.m.

A gymnasium will be used for swimmers to sit when they are not swimming. This gymnasium is about 75 feet from the pool area. There will be "runners" on the floor, but it will be important that your swimmers bring proper footwear to have on their feet in the hallway. The gymnasium can get rather cool so swimmers should bring extra sweatshirts, sweatpants, and towels.

There will NOT be an audio speaker in the gym. It will be up to each team to get swimmers from the gym to the starting blocks. The gym is simply an "holding area" so swimmers and parents have room to sit.

There will be a concession stand for your swimmers and parents. It will be directly in front of the gymnasium.

The Jeremy Naylor Invite is governed by the current 2015 USA Swimming Technical Rules. All events will be timed finals. Swimmers' times will NOT be uploaded to the SWIMS database (this is a non-USA Swimming event).

Background:
This swim meet is held in memory of Jeremy Naylor, a 2006 graduate of Dover Area High School. His parents and brother, Eric, are close friends of the WSY Competitive Swimming Program and our programming within the Northern York School District. In 2008, Jeremy was tragically killed in an automobile accident.

Facility:
The Northern High School Pool is a six lane, 25-yard pool with full display. A Colorado timing system will be used, along with touch pads at the finish end for 50 yard and longer events and button finish for the 25 yard events for 8 & under. The meet will be run using Hy-tek Meet Management software. The water depth at the turn end of the pool is 5 feet. There will be no “Seeding Area” to stage swimmers. The host team will have volunteers behind the blocks to double check swimmers are in the proper lanes.

Entry Deadline: Tuesday, November 24

This meet requires advance entry. Please make sure the following steps are followed:

1. Print page(s) that contain the list of meet events.
2. Write swimmer's name on the print-out of the event list. Do not forget to do this.
3. Circle swimmer's desired events.
4. Include payment and event list in an envelope marked with the meet name. CHECKS PAYABLE TO COLLEGIATE AQUATICS.
5. Return paper copies and payment to a coach or specified folder by the deadline indicated.
