Collegiate Aquatics is hosting our SIXTH Longaberger Basket Bingo fundraiser event on on Sunday, October 4 at the LINGLESTOWN FIRE COMPANY, 5901 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg. This is an important part of our fundraising needs so we plan to make it super lucrative, as well as a fun-filled afternoon for the swim team, family, friends and all who attend.
Longaberger Basket Bingo is an afternoon of bingo consisting of 26 games. When someone wins a game of bingo they will receive a Longaberger Basket FILLED with product and/or prizes. Additionally we will be offering a 50/50 drawing, raffle drawings and fantastic door prizes. Door prizes will consist of gift certificates and/or products from local businesses.
As a swim team we have a very good opportunity to earn a nice profit from this event. Let’s work together to make it happen. We are asking each family to sell at least 4 tickets.
Swimmers will be credited $10.00 for each ticket sold towards their required fundraising fee.
Volunteers will be needed for this event. Parents, CA alumni, and friends of the program are welcome to volunteer. Sign-up HERE when available

CHANGE ...Sunday PM Warm-Up and start time - The warm-up time for Sunday afternoon is 1pm and a 2pm meet start. This represents a 30 minute EARLIER time adjustment.
Although the timeline for Saturday is 5pm ending time, the concession stand will close on Saturday at 3pm due to planning for an event at the High School on Saturday evening.
OFFICIALS - If you will be attending this meet, please email Mike (mike@wsyswim.org) and indicate your willingness and availability to volunteer.
Parents: Please be sure you understand two important things for the Saturday and Sunday sessions at Cumberland Valley High School:
1) Spectator gallery at Cumberland Valley High school - it is VERY important that parents/guests understand the policy at CV. CV High School spectator balcony has seating for up to 375. The balcony seating is LIMITED to 375 and this is a “controlled seating”. By order of fire marshal and CV school district, the meet host can NOT allow more than 375 spectators in the spectator gallery at any time. There are approximately 320 athletes in any session, thus if every swimmer brought two spectators, not everyone would be admitted to the spectator gallery. Meet volunteers will be enforcing the rule of "no backpacks, stadium seats, or lawn chairs in the spectator gallery". You will be limited to a small purse or personal item. All teams have been asked to cooperate in adhering to CV High School's rules. This includes no food on the pool deck and in the bleachers. Security will be present on the pool deck to enforce the "no food on deck rule". Parents will be asked to clear the gallery between each session, and for security purposes, the meet host will request parents take their personal belongings with them as they exit the gallery.
2) Heat sheets are distributed approximately 5-10 minutes prior to the beginning of the session. When parents arrive to pay their admission, they will NOT be handed a heat sheets. After coaches "scratch back" athletes that are not swimming, the meet will be re-seeded and heat sheets will be printed for parents. Heat sheets will also be printed for all coaches and officials and posted on the pool deck for athletes. Heat sheets will be available on Meet Mobile about 20 minutes PRIOR to the start of the meet.
