NLAC Swimfest A/BB/C Long Course Meet - June 26-28, 2015 at Penn State University, State College The original meet information packet is HERE A preliminary timeline BEFORE scratches is HERE A report of Collegiate swimmers' entries is HERE A map indicating where McCoy Natatorium and the outdoor 50 meter competition pool is HERE The indoor race pool in McCoy Natatorium will NOT be available for this meet. Penn State is performing construction on the Natatorium this summer. Swimmers will still have access to the locker rooms. The meet director has has built in some breaks to the schedule for warm-up and cool down. Quick note about parking...parking will be available in the East Parking Deck which is on Bigler Road adjacent to the Natatorium. If you choose to park elsewhere please check the colored signs posted in the lot, there are parking restrictions on campus that could result in ticketing and/or towing. The small lot directly behind McCoy Natatorium will be closed. Please do not drop your swimmers off in front of the Nat, this causes traffic problems, especially with the CATA buses. Do to the construction at the pool, PSU will not be providing a snack truck for this meet. You will be permitted to bring your own food in and the creamery is right around the corner. Hospitality will be provided for Coaches, Officials, and Volunteers. Teams will need to provide their own tents for their swimmers. We are asking that the teams and coaches set-up tents to the left of the entrance and the parents and spectators sit to the right. Please find below the adjusted warm-up and start times for the meet. Please note that since we have worked in some additional breaks and we need to do all warm-ups in the outside pool we have had to adjust some of the warm-up and start times. The meet hosts still plans to run a two hour 400 free session. That means the top 88 swimmers both boys and girls will swim. The swimmers will be determined after positive check-in closes. An updated psych sheet for the 400 free is posted at the bottom of this page so that you can see where you fall in relation to the rest of the field. Those swimmers who will not be able to swim the 400 will be offered the choice to swim another event or get a refund. Our 9-12 sessions are very full so the events will be filled by empty lanes.
