The weather forecast for this weekend may cause some issues for travel and safety of all involved. With this in mind, the Meet Director made the decision to make all sessions timed finals.
Saturday evening snow is supposed to be at its heaviest around 5:00 pm and then change to sleet/ice/rain into Sunday morning. Not knowing the specific road conditions for early Sunday, the Sunday sessions will be delayed 2 hours. This delay will will not allow time for finals. This is a difficult decision, however keeping everyone’s safety in mind and providing enough time to notify all involved, the meet host felt this was the right decision. Thank you for understanding.

These changes are necessary due to the restrictions imposed by GCIT on the Friday schedule – Middle Atlantic will not be able to host any sessions of the JO meet while school is in session. * * * The swimmers age will be determined as of December 1, 2014. * * *
Purpose: To provide 9 & under swimmers an opportunity to swim in a Championship type meet at the end of their season
Facilities: This meet will be run in an eight lane competitive pool with adjustable bulkhead, and fully automatic timing. Adjustable bulkhead allows for 25 yard course with a five lane 25 yard warm down area The starting end has a depth of 13 feet. The facility is equipped with Adolph Keiffer Wave Eater lane lines, Colorado Timing System, Aqua Grip electronic pads, and a ten-line readout scoreboard. Seating for up to 500 swimmers on deck and spectator balcony seating for up to 400. Free parking next to the building. The water depth at the turn end of the pool is 5 feet. There will be no “Seeding Area” to stage swimmers. Teams will be responsible to see their swimmers behind the blocks. The host team will have volunteers behind the blocks to double check swimmers are in the proper lanes.
Meet Time Line:
Doors Open: 7:15 a.m.
General Warm-up: 8-8:50am
Meet begins: 9:00 a.m.
Meet ends: 1:00 p.m.
Entries: Each swimmer may swim a maximum of four (4) individual events, and (2) two relays.
