Participants must successfully complete pre-course swimming and pre-requisites and the CPR/AED and First Aid classes. The cost includes all textbooks and supplies. Attendance is mandatory at all classes.
Registration at a different fee will be offered for those participants who need to recertify and have current valid certification. Those needing recertification will b required to correctly demonstrate all critical skills and written tests and bring all supplies to class, such as Lifeguard manual, first aid supplies, etc.

Our annual spring clinic and conditioning sessions will officially begin on Tuesday, April 15 and run every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for a six week period, ending Thursday, May 24. The first five weeks are scheduled in the Central Penn Fitness Center natatorium. The last week is scheduled to move outdoors to the Latshmere Swim Club. There will be two in-water sessions each evening.
Younger swimmers (generally 10 & under) will have in-water sessions each evening from 6:00-7:00 p.m. These sessions will include a greater emphasis on stroke development and basic endurance.
Older/more experienced swimmers (generally 11-older) will have extended dry-land sessions on Tuesday, Thursday from 6:00-7:00 p.m. (some Saturday mornings will also be included as a part of the clinic - details TBA). Flexibility, core strength, and muscular endurance will be points of emphasis for dryland sessions. In-water sessions are scheduled each evening from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Stroke refinement, strength development, and progressively more challenging sets will be introduced as the sessions progress.
More details will be provided to registered swimmers and their families via email prior to the start of the sessions. Please be sure to respond in a timely manner. We have had a great deal of interest in these sessions and may have to limit attendance - REGISTER EARLY.

A USA Stroke & Turn clinic will be held for new officials on Friday, May 16 at the Derry Township (Hershey) Rec Center. Any interested Collegiate Aquatics parent is encouraged to attend this clinic. Please see additional information and online sign-up form at the link below:
